-slam dunk manga-
Music: Zettai Ni Daremo - Slam Dunk
chiizu =)
hear hear, went to bugis with sihua yesterday, went to "kinokuniya" bookstore as i wanted to get myself the
Slam Dunk manga, english version. i was so happy when it wasnt sold out, i started reading the manga as im pretty sure the anime for
slam dunk national interhigh wont be coming out. it stops at the end of the kanto regional for the anime, i was expecting the nationals to be released soon after but well, 11 years have passed and no more hopes for that to happen.
well, i bought
Slam Dunk Volume 23-31(end) at one time, because i wont want to travel all the way there again just to buy a manga book. well, lucky i did that, i finished reading all 9 volumes in a day. =)
well, the ending was really sad, i was really hoping
Shohoku to win the championship but they already made their exit in the best of four or was it eight -.-" in any case it was a disappointment, not to mention
sakuragi hanamichi hurt his back and had to be treated for a period of time before he can play basketball again.
Akagi & Kogure retired in order to prepare themselves for the exams,
Mitsui Hisashi stayed on to play in the winter games before he too exit from high school basketball.
Ryota Miyagi became the captain,
Rukawa Kaede was off to the all-japan tournament camp for a week. also
Akagi's younger sister,
Haruko joins the basketball team as a manager along with
Ayako. Haruko writes to
Hanamichi every week to update him on whats going on with the team.
the manga ends with
Sakuragi Hanamichi's one sentence
" Tensai Dakara ". LOL, i translated it as it sounds much better in japanese.
it was abit sad since the series really ends here but well, the whole storyline/plot was the greatest ever.
i just wonder why they dont release anime for
Slam Dunk Nationals, since
Prince Of Tennis Nationals Championship was released due to popular demand. does this mean that
Prince Of Tennis top
Slam Dunk? well in any case this two animes would top my list for the rest of my life, no exaggeration.
ending here; sayonaras !
